Personal Interests
Thank you so much for visiting my page! I would like to take this opportunity to share a little bit about myself, my family, and what I love to do!
I was born and raised in Piedmont, Alabama. This is a small town in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. When I was a Junior in high school, my family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, a much larger, more urban, beach town. As I was growing up school became and escape for me. I was part of the families professors talk about, the family that is so far below the poverty line that they can barely afford a pencil. My mom was a single mom of three, in my opinion, wonderful daughters. She worked multiple jobs to make sure that my sisters and I had enough food to eat and clothes to wear. Fast-forward to today, I have come further than anyone thought possible. I am living proof that the economic stereotypes can be over come and anyone can be successful, if they have the right facilitators along the way.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am recently married to a wonderful man, Ben. Ben and I love to be outside and finding out what different places offer, like Devil's Bathtub pictured below. I also love to serve in my church, where ever it may be at the time. It was in the church that I realized the passion I have for the younger generations. I desire to share with them a love that will never falter and something that will also be with them.
Below are pictures of the people who have brought me where I am today and places I have enjoyed being.
